STEAMobile is non-profit 503C org located in Redmond, Washington creating a building community that creates functional enrichment opportunities that can go anyplace to learn and play! Made by Apprentices with the help of adult Mentors, STEAMobile is into up-cycling materials for projects and creating building programs serving the community and utilizing maker-mobiles to take the classroom anywhere. From art shacks to LEGO material Jr. Robotics and woodworking projects, STEAMobile supports enrichment for all.
By stacking building projects with learning, STEAMobile brings projects like little free libraries, automated robots, and more to our High School level Apprentices for on-the-job learning and skill building.

Dilettante Extraordinaire + LEGO Building Alpha Bus Classroom
STEAMobile was inspired into an organizational status by Dilettante Extraordinaire's (DE) successful Alpha LEGO bus classroom creation! Born from the COVID pandemic with a need for a well-ventilated indoor-outdoor classroom, DE paved the way for off-grid classrooms located in outdoor host spaces to serve local kids. Demand for other STEAM flavored buses are in the works with STEAMobile starting with a DUPLO material version for our youngest (1-3 years old!) builders and growing into so much more!

Bricks4Kidz has been servicing local elementary and schools in the Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond area for over 12 years with its very popular build, learn, play programs. As a host partner, STEAMobile looks forward to expanding the always sold-out program offerings with more places to build, create, and have fun!
